HNI and its partners launched the 3-2-1 Service in Malawi in October 2014. Malawi is the second country, after Madagascar, to launch the 3-2-1 Service. Replicating a successful model in a new country helped in many ways — the lessons learned, the proven value proposition. Still, the results exceeded our expectations.
Malawians have free access to Chichewa language content on Agriculture, Gender Equality, Health, Nutrition, and Weather.
HNI will launch Malawi’s 321online Web channel in 2016.
This is information which the simple Malawian would have otherwise gotten after meetings with farming advisors, health advisors or other NGOs who do not visit them frequently. All in all, the 3-2-1 Service is helping to improve lives.
–Tione Kafumbu, Marketing Executive Airtel Malawi
